Peplink Balance 30 - OpenVPN

Hi all,

I have a Peplink Balance 30 (Firmware 8.0.0 build 3623), and I am a ProtonVPN user. I’d really like to tunnel my traffic through ProtonVPN via my router but OpenVPN is not an option when setting up a VPN. ProtonVPN only allows OpenVPN.

Is there an add-on for the Balance 30 that would allow me to use OpenVPN?

Hi Welcome to the forum!
Peplink devices can’t act as OpenVPN clients. You will need to either use software clients on your devices or add another router that does support OpenVPN.
