Hi, we have a 380 which is at a very old release of the firmware, 4.8.2 which was released back in August 2009. I want to upgrade to the current version. Is it possible to do this just by downloading the file and using the manual upgrade or do I have to step through a previous version or two first? We tried to use the ‘Check for Upgrade’ button but keep getting told that we are up to date. Thanks
Hi, upgrading to 5.x firmware requires an unlock key. If your 380 is under warranty (with a maintenance contract), you can upgrade to 5.4 for free. If not, please contact your point of purchase for upgrade options. You can check out our knowledge base for more information.
