Peplink 210 HW 2 - Firmware 6.3.4

Hi Everyone,

i’m seeking help here. i want to upgrade the device which is currently firmware 6.3.4. as i check the firmware, all is the latest version which is 8.3.0. if i just upgrade it, could be any issue happen like missing configuration ?
because this upgrade like jump to the latest version. i worry if configuration will missing.

Unless someone has a better idea I’d:

  1. Save the config you are using under 6.3.4. (I’d note the file name to indicate it was the last under the old version)
  2. Upgrade to 8.3.0.
  3. Save the config again (noting first under 8.3.0)

This will allow you to back-out if necessary. But, frankly, I’d upgrade anyway rather than using a dinosaur FW version. There have been huge improvements between the two versions, as you may be aware.
