PDX Rapid deployment

What is the modem inside the PDX mobile routers? Is this the BR2 Pro just broken down to fit in the the PDX shell?

Hello…
Look at this part number (SKU) PDX-5GD-T.
and the firmware for it:
https://download.peplink.com/firmware/epx/fw-epx_mbx_sdx-8.4.1s032-build5812.bin

Now… look the letters GD was used by part number (SKU) MAX-BR2-PRO-5GD-T-PRM and the new BR2 device: MAX-BR2-PRO-5GN-T-PRM, Peplink just replace the LTE MODULE. Both BR2 (GD/GN) keep using the firmware: https://download.peplink.com/firmware/br1c/fw-br1p_br2p_transitp_hd1dp_hd2dp_hd1hw4_hd2hw7-8.4.1s032-build5494.bin

So… PDX use the CPU called in directory tree as EPX (Intel??). So… the same CPU used by:
|Balance 2500 EC|HW1|
|Balance 310 5G|HW1-2|
|Balance 310 Fiber 5G|HW1-2|
|Balance 310X|HW1-4|
|Balance 380X|HW1|
|Balance 580X|HW1|
|Balance Two|HW1|
|EPX|HW1|
|MAX HD2 MBX|HW1-4|
|MAX HD4 MBX|HW1-4|
|MAX MBX Mini|HW1|
|PDX|HW1-2|
|SDX|HW1-3|
|SDX Pro|HW1-2|

The CPU clock speed and the total amount of memory or total amount of flash, will be different.

The PDX has an MBX inside.

My " PDX " … don’t… ha ha ha

Next week… I replace the vintage bpl-one with bpl-two.

Just a few options for connection. :sunglasses:
