Packets per second question

Dear colleagues,

I am working at an event in Barcelona this week. 2 x FTTH lines combined with a 5G modem into a Peplink Balance Two. Fiber providers are Colt and Adamo

Colt works great, but take a look at the Adamo statistics:

What is happening there?

Every few minutes, signal completely dissapears.

Blue arrows show latency spikes and severe packet loss (7824.1 packets per second on the highest peak!)

but wait…

How many packets per second are being pushed out on a 17 Mbps RTMP stream? MTU value is 1440

Not an expert, but my math says this:

Packets Per Second (PPS)=Bandwidth (bits/sec) / Packet size (bytes)×8

which results in approx 1476 PPS

So how come are we losing 7824 packets per second? what am I missing here?

If anyone can shed some light on this topic, it would be appreciated.
