My windows 10 machine connects and can rdp with the same exact profile as the iphone. Definetly not a firewall issue since openvpn clients are on the same subnet and a firewall rule was created for the whole vpn subnet to RDP to the server and works from the windows 10 machine via the same rule. The logs show the allowed attempts from the windows 10 machine but no logs show for the iphone. Captures testing the windows machine show the windows machine completing the tcp handshake with the server but captures testing the iphone dont show any attempts at all. I think this narrows it down to a local issue on the iphone but not sure what to do. The iphone was once able to connect and rdp with a different profile but I had configured dynamic dns on the wan interface since the public address is not static. Again the new profile (with dynamic dns) has no issues on the windows machine but no firewall log entries or connections show on the pcap for the iphone leading me to believe the issue is local to the iphone. Both vpn devices show on the clients list.
