Opening communication between two modules

I have 2 modules of model MAX BR1 MK2, what is the correct way to open communication between the two modules, which means that I will have ping between them.

That depends how they are connected. Do you mean if they are in different locations connected via 4G, or do you mean in the same place connected with a cable?
