I recently got a SOHO, which works great, but need to extend the WLAN with an AP. Does the AC Mini work with the router? It looks like the only thing that the Mini can do but the SOHO can’t is Captive Portal. This isn’t a requirement for me, but are the other compatibility issues I should be aware of?
Also to note, this is for a home office, I have no other APs, and have never used one before.

Great, thanks. Last q: I have a Linksys LGS116P unmanaged switch, which support IEEE 802.3, 802.3u, 802.3x, 802.3ab, 802.3az, 802.3af, and 802.3at (PoE+). The mini looks like it uses 802.3af for its PoE. So, good? Just plug in the ethernet and go? This is over Cat6, btw, and less than 60m.
