We’ve noted and appreciate the InControl issue tracking page. It’s extremely nice to have some insight to issues that happen on a platform that is used by so many.
One request we’d like to make is that issues get posted as they are discovered. This will help users, network administrators and anyone supporting them understand when there has already been an identified issue and that the appropriate team(s) are working on the problem. If the extent of the issue can be identified, such as what planets are affected, that is extremely helpful as well.
The proactive approach would help to lessen the panic and frustration of users when there are issues. Ideally a banner message across IC2 or a notification would be used so that users can be alerted to issues as they log in.

Agree, this would be very useful. Banner message in IC2 would be awesome. Only time that doesn’t work is when IC2 is down.
