I have a new tmobile modem, after testing, SA is just so much less latent than ipv4, many things on my network work, BUT a few things do not, ROKU streaming channel when this device is in passthrough. windows app store, xbox game bar, these clients all fail ipv6 tests, but work when directly connected. I’ve been reading, a DHCP 79 option to specify DHCPv6 relay, but the parameters show it only allows smaller, 32-bit addresses, which DHCP option 79 needs the ipv6 server address, which is too long. it would be great if this would work in some capacity vs their latent ipv4 option. I have been searching quite a bit, and i’m really not interested in trying another route, Also, if this isn’t possible, is there other hardware i can use instead of peplink?
Hello @jgsieve,
Native IPv6 is not yet supported in the Peplink range of routers.
