The mobile hotspot was disconnecting and reconnecting as a WAN via the equipment RJ45 connection irritatingly frequently when the HealthCheck function (DNS) was enabled on the Peplink Balance Two. I discovered that in the Advanced panel of the Nighthawk Mobile Hotspot UI, turning the “IP Passthrough” ON and setting Peplink to “disable Healthcheck” resolved the disconnection problem. The M6 Hotspot now giving way over 200 Mbp on a 5G cell connection as a WAN. There is no “bridge” option I believe on the hotspot.
