Need help with a very basic HQ-branch office setup.

First of all, I’m not a networking expert and this question seems very basic, so I apologize If my mistakes ashame you

This is the setup:
HQ office:
Peplink Balance 310 5G, connected to the internet WAN with a Cable modem with a fixed IP address.
IP: 172.17.10.1
LAN: 172.17.10.1/24
DHCP on, Gateway 172.17.10.1

Branch office:
Peplink Peplink Balance 310 5G, connected to the internet WAN with mobile 5G.
IP: 172.17.14.1
LAN: 172.17.14.1/24
DHCP on, Gateway 172.17.14.1

Let’s connect the two offices:

  • In the HQ I create a SpeedFusion profile for the branch, with NAT mode off (I really don’t know what is NAT for, sorry).
  • In the Branch I create a SpeedFusion profile for the HQ, with NAT mode off and using the remote fixed IP address.
  • Connected!
  • From a computer in the HQ office I can ping all the devices in the HQ network (172.17.10.1/24) and all the devices in the branch (172.17.14.1/24) great news!!!

But…

  • From a computer in the branch I can only ping the devices in the branch network. I can’t reach the HQ 172.17.10 network at all.

What is what I’m missing? Seems that should be something very simple.

Whank you for your help.

I have found the problem. I had other network adapter in the PC that was using to make the test with a 172.17.0.0/16 Address and It was “eating” my pings.

Checked with other devices and everything was fine.
Thank you.
