Need help setting up B One LAN 1

I have a new B One that I’m trying to set up in my home network as a replacement for an existing ASUS router. I can connect to and configure the B One directly, and wifi works when I connect to my modem. But I can’t access the B One through my switch (Linksys LGS124P) and I have no internet on any device downstream of the switch. I’ve played with some network settings on the B One based on other discussions I’ve been able to find, and I cycled power on both devices as was recommended somewhere, but I’m not making any progress. I was assuming that this first (LAN 1) connection would be plug-and-play, but I must be missing something. Need advice please.

Connect your laptop to the B One on a LAN port: do you get an IP address and can you access the internet? If so, the problem is either the cable to the switch or the switch itself.

If not, factory reset your B One device, do not do any configuration to it, give it a WAN connection, verify you can access the internet from your laptop on a LAN port. Once those checks are done, proceed configuring your Peplink device with care so as to not block downstream traffic.

Thanks for the reply. As I mentioned, the switch was the issue. I unplugged every cable, powered it down for a few minutes, and then powered it back up with only the B One and a PC connected. That looked good, so I unplugged the PC, plugged in all the original cables and the whole network was up and running as expected.
