I would like to post this request hoping that a Peplink engineer can see the benefit of its use, especially for us that have a vehicle fleet to track.
This would also make the decision makers see its value and benefit in its continued use and justify the cost of use.
Scenario:
We get a call that a driver ‘may’ have done something while driving, but the information gathered from the caller does not include anything identifying.
Such as vehicle/unit number, license plate etc. etc. etc. just a general time, date, and an approximate intersection.
With the data we currently have now, we would have to look at every vehicle one by one. That can be very time consuming.
I feel this feature would benefit all corporate, and municipal buyer/users of Peplink mobile routers that purchase dozens of Peplink mobile routers.
The data is there. It just needs to be visualized into this feature.
As an example.
All vehicles can be represented by different color tracks all on one map, along with the date, time-line function that we currently have and use.
The data would just need to be combined in an all-in-one map…
But searching each and every vehicles track, as awesome as the feature we have is, can be very time consuming.
If you would like a beta tester for this feature, I would gladly offer a fleet for such a test.
