Multiple sources in same priority slot BR1 MK2

Hello,

My BR1 MK2 has various priority “slots” to place connections such as Cellular, WiFi 2.4 etc. and order them for failover. What I don’t understand is what happens when you put cellular and WiFi 2.4 in the same slot such as Priority 1? Should this even be allowed? Which connection is Pepwave using or is it still in order within the Priority bucket? Please explain how this works and pro’s/con’s.

Hello NealC,

When you have two WANs in Priority 1 the default outbound policy will load balance traffic between the two WANs. If you have one of the WANs listed in Priority 2, that WAN will go into standby and it won’t be used for routing traffic.
