Multicast routing across VLANs

Hello Peplink,

We have some installations where AV equipment are on their own VLANs and Owner/Captain’s network is on a separate VLAN. When the owner or the captain connects to their respective SSID, they can ping the AV equipment but unable to control. Please advise.

Is there a roadmap to support Multicast Routing (MCR). In Germany the VDV (vdv.de) defines standards for whole transportation industry. And the IBIS-IP network depends on Multicast Routing for service discovery.
Please implement MCR.

There is a Muticast/Broadcast UDP relay function built in to firmware 8.3.0, are you running that?

Hi bryn,

Is there more detailed information about udp relay / multicast in firmware 8.3.0 ?

Our customer need to connect 12 remote balance 20x for ROIP application ( data and voice/multicast).
