I have a 1,000+ MAX customer who only recently realized that the firmware update function doesn’t update the modems in his devices. He has been having issues at a number of locations that are typical of carrier network changes that are fixed by modem firmware updates. This function is currently hidden on the support.cgi page. This is in my opinion inappropriate. It should be an option that is part of the normal firmware update function in the GUI.

Agreed seems very weird the modem firmware is a separate upgrade, even stranger its not surfaced on the firmware upgrade page. I believe its more visible in Incontrol, but not all of us use that.
