I’m not sure if this has already been requested, but would you strongly consider adding the MediaFast functions to older balance models in a future firmware release? It would be great if we could use an external USB thumb drive or storage device for caching web content.
Does anyone else think this is a good idea? If this is a bad idea or stupid request, then someone please educate me as to why?
Thanks for the feature request but the MediaFast functionality is not just a firmware upgrade and it relies upon a built-in SSD drive to store the cache content. We do not support the MediaFast technology on an external USB storage device.
