MBX Downgrading Firmware from 5G module to 4G module

Hi guys!

Happy New Year.

I am currently running an MBX with the 4x 5G Cellular modules. This was upgraded from the LTEA version.

Current firmware: 8.1.3 build 5162

I would like to know if I can revert to the LTEA module without changing firmware.

If firmware is required to be change, can I downgrade from this build to another?

If so, which one would you recommend?

If you have an MBX then all you need to do is swap out the 5G tray and put on the LTEA one. You don’t have to do anything with the firmware.

You should unplug power to the device when you swap the trays.
