Maximum supported speeds of embedded 3G modems in Pepwave MAX HD2

Hi! Two questions for you:

Can you please tell me the maximum supported Download speeds of the embedded modems in the Pepwave MAX HD2? The tech specs say HSDPA & HSUPA but there are many revisions of these protocols with greatly differing speeds.

Also I am assuming that when using a 4G USB modem, the connectors on the rear of the unit to connect to an external antennae dont function, that it is reliant on the inbuilt antenna on the USB modem alone?

Thanks!

Mike

Hi Mike,

HSDPA max speed is 14.4 Mbps and HSUPA max speed is 5.76 Mbps. You are correct about the 4G USB modem, you would need to connect an external antenna to the modem itself.
