Max Transit & Starlink Configuration

Got an older Max Transit CAT-18 and have my Starlink connected to it. I used to be paying for the full boat on Starlink but with now that we probably aren’t going back to Alaska in the forseeable future I have scaled back the SL plan to the 10GB for $10 one. Currently I have the SL in Priority 2 Standby and one of my SIMs in Priority 1 and connected. Just wondering if there is a better way to configure it that I haven’t thought of to keep the SL use at or below the 10GB monthly maximum. (I can always let it go over if absolutely needed but I would like to keep that cost low when I can)

Hmm. apparently this cannot be done with a peplink device? I would have thought someone would have figured after getting tired of Elon’s constant changing starlink plans and costs. Right now I switched to the $5 a month standby plan till I can figure something else out.

so is your question to manage the amount of data used or have a cut-off at 10gb ?

Hi…

Is your Starlink connect at WAN (RJ45) or at WiFi WAN?

Have you try this option?

My intent is to keep my internet alive at a decent speed in the motorhome while traveling by prioritizing cellular data when its good (>=10 Mbps) over Starlink to keep my monthly out of pocket costs down. It appears there isn’t “a minimum acceptable bandwidth setting based on real-time performance” so there might not be a way to do this with my MT. -Bill
