Max Transit DUO randomly restarts

My Max Transit DUO has been on firmware 8.3.0 since shortly after it was released. It worked fine for a while, but lately I’m getting random restarts about once every day or two. Sometimes it restarts just a few minutes after a previous restart. These restarts are not preceded by me messing around with any settings or accessing the interface. We use this in our RV and have 2 SIMs and sometimes one or two campground Wifi As WAN connections. I also use the Peplink VPN Relay at a home location, and I do use SFC and they seem to work as intended.

All I can see in the event log for this issue is:

Jul 01 22:31:07 System: Started up (8.3.0 build 5514)

There’s nothing in the event log before or after which would indicate a problem.

Anyone else have an issue like this? How can I troubleshoot this or get more detail about why this is happening? When it happens, we are stationary and have good cellular connections.

Could be a loose power connection or voltage fluctuation…
Might be worth plugging in an additional power source and see if it still reboots.

Thanks Martin!

I did find that my 12V connection was slightly loose in the socket, so maybe that was it. If/when it happens again, this will be my first thing to check.
