I have the max transit cat 18 modem and want to use 12 volt option. but i don’t know what ports to use on the green plug (serial console) There is a label GND but the others dont have any positive sign.

The others are labeled VCC TX RX RTS AND CTS

VCC is 12V + GND is 12V -.

(12V in your instance - in fact the transit has a wide operating range)

So i just connect the Positive to the VCC and the Negative to the GND to power unit of 12volts? This is for my camper and want it to be powered off the batteries

Thats right.
TX, RX, RTX and CTX are the pins for serial connectivity. The outside pins are for the power.
