does the max hd1 dome pro come with incontrol or anything included in the first year? after the first year, is there a way to only purchase incontrol renewal (no warranty/essential care? are there any sim slots onboard or must one get the SIM injector for an added cost? if using a marine mount/pole how is the ethernet connection made weatherproof?

It comes with the first year of incontrol2 and hardware warrenty.
If you want to use incontrol2 after the first year you will need to purchase EssentialCare or EssentialCare+.
After the first year you will still be able to use all other functions of the unit and could access the web ui directly.
It has 2 sim slots inside the dome that you can use.
You would run the cable inside the pole direct to the ethernet port that inside the threaded connection to keep it waterproof.
