I have a Max BR2 and a self-hosted version of fusion server residing in Microsoft Azure’s cloud. I am trying to bond connections together, but the speeds are not what I’d expect and I am trying to see if I am missing a setting somewhere. I am getting about 220 MBPS download and my main connection is getting about 900Mbps down when I change the outbound policy to go out over that WAN instead of the VPN. Here are some notes
- Firmware is all up-to-date
- Wan smoothing and Forward Error Correction are off
- Connection to SpeedFusion Cloud maxes out at 200 as expected, but self-hosted in Azure should be much faster. Speed test from the appliance in Azure is showing 2GBPS
- I am bonding cellular connections, but for testing purposes they are all disabled and only WAN1 is enabled which is hardwired to Comcast with 1GBPS bandwidth.
- When I change the outbound policy to send all traffic over WAN1, I get 1GBPS speeds…but over the VPN its about 220 MBPS
Would love to hear the communities thoughts!
