We have a Max BR1 onboard our vessel for crew and guests internet while at port. We are considering to upgrade to Max Duo in order to improve internet speed and a better user experience.
I would like to know if upgrading to Max Duo will actually improve speeds. We have recently upgrade our wifi access points onboard. Together with the Max Duo e would install to MIMO omni directional antennas (2 antennas in each antenna pole).
The other question is if Max Duo with new antennas will give us a better range. And lastly, if the use of a signal booster would be a good way to get signal further away from shore.
