With the 3G networks being turned off, I’m noticing my device sometimes is getting stuck trying to connect to 3G service, when LTE and 5G are strong in my area.
If I change the connection info to “LTE”, it is able to get a stable “LTE” connection and things work. But if I swap back to 3g/LTE/5G, it’ll sometimes connect to LTE/5G, but after a few minutes will stall and be back to being unable to connect to 3G. (why?!?)
How can I just disable 3G, now that its out of the picture on many carriers in the US? I’d still like to be able to use 5G, as its got a lot more capacity around here.
