MAX BR1 PRO 5G issues with Starlink


I initially setup SL 6-months ago as shown on the attached configuration. Worked fine. I then paused SL service for 4-months and only recently re-activated and having issues running SL through my MAX BR1 PRO 5G.

  1. when connected via WiFi directly to Starlink router, everything works fine.
  2. When attached to SL via MAX BR1 PRO 5G router (via Starlink Ethernet Adapter), either
    1. Speeds are greatly reduced; or
    2. Will not connect (shown in screen shot); or
    3. “WAN DNS Failed to Connect” error.

I have replaced the Ethernet cable between the Pepwave router and the SL Ethernet Adapter. Problem improved, but recurred 1-day later.

Thoughts? Maybe Ethernet adapter? Or are there some settings? Thanks in advance -

UPDATE —SOLVED The retailer I purchased the BR1 PRO 5G from suggested putting Starlink into “Bypass Mode” (App>>Settings>>>Bypass Mode). Worked like a charm - issue closed.
