Max br1 mk2 and starlink

I have a Max BR1 MK2 Router running firmware v. 8.1.0s024 build 4955, so that I can terminate OpenVPN. (which I really like). I plan to use the Starlink WAN system soon. My question is, if I update the firmware to v. 8.1.1S118 build 5005, will I still be able to terminate OVPN on the Max br1 mk2? Thank You.

what makes you think you wouldnt be able to? and why dont you update to a current build 8.2.1?

Please define “terminate OpenVPN” do you mean run an OpenVPN server or act as an OpenVPN client?

All of the OpenVPN services should be available on the recent firmware releases.

Starlink is a CGNAT network, and there are no inbound IPv4 services on their network.
