I’m trying to connect a secondary network to my main network connected via a switch to a MAX BR1 Mini and allow routing between the two networks. The secondary network seems to be using DHCP with and IP range of 172.16.0.0/16. I have my secondary network connected to LAN1, my switch connected to LAN2 and Starlink connected to WAN1.
My understanding is I need to create a VLAN and assign it to LAN1. I have created a new VLAN with IP address 172.16.90.2/16, Inter-VLAN routing is checked and then I assign the LAN1 port to Access Type, VLAN1 but this doesn’t seem to work. I can’t ping devices from the secondary network or from the Peplink network.
What am I missing that would allow me to get this working?
