Just got my system up and running with a sim card from ipad with unlimited data, however it seems to be that its running off the hotspot which is capped at 15gb, is there a way to switch to the actual unlimited cellular plan and not the hotspot or did i not do my homework correctly and this is the way it runs(off hotspot data)

The easiest approach would be to just start a new line following the “BYOD” process. This should identify your device and present you with plans meant for your device. Once the new service is functional then cancel the old line.
The plan will be some tier of data. They claim it to be unlimited but after the allotted amount of ‘premium data’ it will be soo slow as to make it essentially unusable.
