MAX BR1 LTE firmware

I have purchased MAX BR1 LTE but the wrong type, this one is a USA Verizon version.
So I cant get the cellular part of the device to work, “invalid PIN or SIM-card” is all I get…

Is there any way of update the firmware to a EU version or must I buy a new one?

Hi Ravenholm,

Unfortunately, I do not believe your unit can be updated by firmware to accommodate the EU settings needed. I would hope the company you purchased the device from would be able to help you with an exchange. Please reach out to them to try. If they will not help Private message and i will see what i can do for you.
