I recently got a government rate SIM card for my BR1 with AT&T. Supposedly uncapped speed. With a strong signal I get about 20 mbps download. My iPhone 11 at same location gets 100 mbps. Why the difference?
iPhone 11 has a Cat 18 LTE modem talking on 5 frequencies at once.
BR1 has either Cat 4 or Cat 6 depending on the model, talking on 1 frequency (Cat 4) or 2 frequencies (Cat 6)
Theoretical speeds
Cat 4 150 down 50 up
Cat 6 300 down 50 up
Cat 18 1200 down 150 up

My BR1 is Cat4, so I think that is a good reason for what I am seeing.
