Max BR1 (HW3) DC power - its now a 4 pin molex plug vs a two pin and I dont know how to find the right connector as its not supplied

Hi - I am swapping out a Max Br1 Mini (HW1) for the latest HW3 variant. The old HW1 had a two pin DC power block and an adapter to plug the wires into. The new HW3 has a 4 pin block, and no adapter other than the AC power block. Where can I find the right adapter plug (and why dont you supply it in the box?) to plug DC power wires into the box?

The cradlepoint one is compatible and quite easy to find.

Thank you. So this would require converting the two wire side to work with this barrel connector right? Is there an adapter that will do that?

Would this work? Amazon.com

Yes that would work fine. It is center pin positive on the DC barrel.

You can also grab a 4-pin molex at mouser.
Double sided, cut in half and you have two cables.

Thanks. A request to Peplink - please include this connector for DC power in the box. Its really annoying when you get something and have to go shopping extensively and wait days to get the items you need to install it (or in this case replace and older product of yours with a newer edition). This wasnt the case with the HW1 - it included the block needed.

This is copy/paste from another post I had replied to but believe the Molex is the correct connector.

Hi, they refer to these as the GPIO (General Purpose Input/Output) connector and in my research believe they would use this this Molex brand 430250400 Micro-Fit 3.0 Receptacle Housing, Dual Row, 4 Circuits.

Pepwave and Cradlepoint use the same GPIO connector and I’ve found the Cradlepoint ones cost less. They do come in different lengths, here’s an example.

Also you can just cut the transformer off the cable that comes with it and use that as a 12v pigtail.
