I have a Max BR1 classic and would like to run an external antenna, Mobility 22g, but would have a 35’ run of coax. Would the signal loss defeat the gains in using an antenna?
You can calculate it. Look up cable specs and antenna specs. Multiply loss by distance. Will vary by frequency/band. LMR400 or similar is good.
