I have a max br1 5g in my rv. Unit works fine, but the little antennas keep tipping over And my signal degrades.
Is there a better way to tighten the screws?
I find the application of some hot glue on the hinges stops them flapping about.
These things don’t ever tighten well enough to stop the movement - seems like an antenna design flaw to me.

I’ve honestly never had an issue but yes hot glue or some tape might help. Or get an external antenna

+1 for getting a roof mounted antenna. For an RV this is going to provide the best performance.

I bought the 42g, I need to drum up enough courage to drill a hole in my roof!
