Manage WiFi from local router access

Hi, I am trying to get to manage the WiFi only (or at least) from the local router address, I don’t want to rely on internet connection for this, this is located on a boat and sometimes there is no internet, so I prefer to have local access for this feature rather than cloud,

Cloud is nice to have as a secondary option and I want to keep it, but priority is local, how can I get this setup?

Cloud says it is locally controlled and local says it is in control controlled so I can’t understand what’s going on.

As a new member I can only post one picture, but cloud in control both device and group levels have the WiFi management setting unchecked

Hi. If you want local control only simply turn InControl off at the device – System → InControl → Controller [disable].

Would that let me still see status via InControl?

I am new to this, and InControl site, InControl app, Peplink app, router utility app, vpn+gateway ip, many controlling monitoring options what do people usually use here? I am new to Peplink so following recommendations

Use case is a small sailboat with Starlink plus 5g SIM card use, with a b one 5g,

Starlink only used when battery charging or with solar excedent (manually turned on and off) currently Starlink gen 3 moving to Starlink mini due to power consumption.

You can also set it to status reporting only. See if that works for you.
