Log Outbound traffic on Balance 380

Hello guys,

I have a Balance 380 router with 5.4.9 firmware and I need your help.

I want to be able to log my outbound traffic because we are being listed in spam lists and I want to be able to view the log file after a while in order to check if anything weird happened.

Is this possible and how?
I cannot look at the active sessions all the time because I don’t know when the problem will occur…

Hello,

Yes this can be accomplished by setting a Outbound Firewall rule and enabling firewall event logging. This can be defined for all traffic, by range or single ip. I would not recommend keeping this on all the time as it will use a lot of bandwidth but should be fine for a little while. Once event logging is enabled you will be able to view the reports via the event log.
