LAN Default Route

Peplink Balance 1350 (HA)

Thank you for taking a moment to give this a look.

I am trying to find where and how the default route for the LAN is set. My internal network in on the LAN port and IP addresses are handed out by the cluster. All traffic is routed to the HA cluster and internet traffic goes out WAN5, trace route confirms this. WAN1 and WAN2 are active but point to point networks.

We recently upgraded to a new internet circuit and the default rout is the missing piece. Where can I view and change the default LAN route?

Thank you.

Hi, @itsupport2
Welcome to community…

The bpl-1350 is the dhcp for your network?
YES… So the device is the default route for every network device, that get IP, using dhcp provide by bpl-1350.
No… So… Need to check who is the dhcp server of your network and set the default route for lan networks device on this server.

Thank you Marcelo,

I have three WAN interfaces active to connect to peplink devices at the other end the third is Internet. DHCP is handled by the peplink, with having two other WAN ports active it was unclear how the LAN port was routed to the internet designated WAN port. So it looks liek it just knows,

Seriously, this helped, thank you again.

Hi, @itsupport2

By default… Peplink devices, automatic route LAN traffic to active WANs.

You can force this using… (SAMPLE)
