LAN 3 as WAN will not connect on 8.0.1

Router is Balance One Core. Hardware Revision is 1.

LAN 3 as WAN no longer functions since the upgrade to firmware version 8.0.1. This port only ever reports “Obtaining IP Address…” Nothing else.

LAN 3 as WAN still works fine if I reboot into firmware 7.1.2.

WAN 1, WAN 2, LAN1 as WAN, and LAN 2 as WAN all work fine in both versions of the firmware.

I have done only basic debugging consisting of looking at the settings for LAN 3 as WAN and ensuring that they matched LAN 2 as WAN. I didn’t spot any differences.

Is this a known bug? If not, can you please test and confirm on your end?

P.S. I do not know how to add tags. Can you please add a tag for “firmware-8” to this thread?

Hi RegGuheert,

did you installed the 5-WAN-license in the BPL One?

Regards
Dennis

Yes. Please reread the OP in which I stated:

LAN 3 as WAN still works fine if I reboot into firmware 7.1.2.

WAN 1, WAN 2, LAN1 as WAN, and LAN 2 as WAN all work fine in both versions of the firmware.

Could you please open a ticket and provide a Diagnostic Report from your device so Support Engineers can investigate. We unsuccessfully tried to replicate.
