Recently Microsoft applied a patch KB5009543 and ever since the patch was applied, I’ve been experiencing “L2TP connection attempt failed because the security layer encountered a processing error during initial negotiations with the remote computer” error - when I uninstall the patch the VPN connection works perfectly. Has anyone seen this problem.
In my VPN configuration I have CHAP & MSCHAP v2 enabled
