[Known Issue] [8.6.1] [FusionHub] WAN - DHCP Renewal Process Could Potentially Interrupts SpeedFusion

Ref.: #38045

Details:
We found an issue in 8.6.1 GA: when the FusionHub WAN is set to DHCP mode, the renewal process (with an unchanged lease IP)—typically occurring at the midpoint of the lease time—unexpectedly triggers the WAN setup process. This could potentially cause an indirect disconnect/reconnect cycle for SpeedFusion.

For instance, if the FusionHub WAN DHCP lease time is set to one hour, the event log will show a “WAN: connected…” event every 30 minutes, which triggers the SpeedFusion tunnel to restart (disconnect > starting …> connected).

We have prepared special firmware (8.6.1s012) to mitigate this behavior, and the fix will be included in the next GA release.

Affected firmware version:
8.6.1 GA

Affected models:
FusionHub Only

Fixed in firmware version:
8.6.1s012

Please download the firmware here (8.6.1s012).
