[Known Issue] [8.5.2] Cellular Unable To Failback To The Highest Priority Custom PLMN In Carrier Selection

Ref.: #34257

Background/Details:
In firmware version 8.5.2 GA, if the router’s cellular has multiple custom PLMN configurations and if a disconnection occurs, the cellular router may enter a “connection loop,” failing to connect to the highest priority PLMN.

The user will see an error message like “WAN: Cellular SIM B cannot connect, restrict network to the highest priority PLMN - xxxxx.” (where xxxxx is the PLMN value) from the Event Log. A power cycle reboot usually resolves this issue, enabling successful connection.

A special firmware, 8.5.2s047 is prepared to fix the issue, and this fix is included in the 8.5.3 GA firmware release.
