Surf SoHo MK3 f.w. 7 build 1139
1 WAN, 1 LAN port connected to local PC
Everything works fine, WiFi OK.
I would like to isolate WLAN from LAN, so that WiFi clients can use internet, but not connect to computers on the LAN ports.
Is WLAN hard wired to LAN, or can I assign WLAN to a different sub-net?
Thanks for the help!

Hi Sparky5. See if any of these help you …

Is it possible to totally isolate a WiFi client such that they can see the Internet and nothing else?
In another posting here, user sitloongs was kind enough to help me setup an SSID on its own VLAN. That worked great. But each WiFi user on that VLAN-isolated SSID can see other devices on the same SSID.
Is there a way to prevent that?
By way of comparison, TRENDNET calls it “Wireless Client Isolation”

TP-LINK calls it “Allow Guests to See Each Other”

Layer2 Isolation is …

All excellent articles. Thanks especially to NoName for documenting his setup experience so well. This approach worked fine for me. Router setup is not for the faint of heart. No wonder there is so much router and wifi hacking. And thanks to the Peplink tech support team.
