I am currently exploring a specific setup and was wondering if this is possible within the Peplink ecosystem.
I want to route PacketFence (SIEM) and Wazuh (XDR) traffic over a SpeedFusion tunnel using Layer 2 bridging to achieve proper network isolation. The intended topology is a Star network, with 2 remote sites connecting to a central SpeedFusion Hub VPN.
My main questions are:
Is it fully supported to bridge Layer 2 over a Hub-and-Spoke (Star) SpeedFusion setup for this kind of traffic?
Are there any specific performance limits or known issues regarding broadcast traffic/isolation I should keep in mind with this design?
Any insights or advice from someone who has built a similar L2 bridging setup would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
