Ipv6 DNS on Balance 305 w/8.4.1 build 5274

How do I enable ipv6 DNS address handling? I get “Invalid DNS Server” when using the cloudflare DNS (2606:4700:4700::1111) or Google’s ipv6 DNS in network → wan → comcast. Comcast’s ipv4 network is down for us .

ipv6 is enabled for this connection

Modem is Technicolor CGA4131COM.

The IPv6 option enabled for the B305 WAN is enabling the IPv6 Passthrough mode from the WAN to the LAN network and the IPv6 communication is direction handled by the provider networks. In the B305 device, you can’t use the IPv4 DNS server setting to overwrite IPv6 DNS setting for the provider network.

Unfortunately when I set the Technicolor CGA4131COM to bridge mode, my IPv6 pings fail. So I’m not sure how to get both IPv4 & IPv6 at this point.
