Introducing PrimeCare! - Simplifying SpeedFusion Deployments

Artboard%2032_1
We are pleased to introduce our new program: PrimeCare! This subscription service makes SpeedFusion networks easier to build by bundling the following services:

  • SpeedFusion Capability : Unlocks all possible SpeedFusion and multi-WAN capability for the device.
  • InControl Management : Ability for the device to use InControl central management.
  • Warranty Support : Subscription to our Warranty service.
  • FusionHub Compatibility : Ability to connect to FusionHub without consuming a spot.

For the initial launch, we will be implementing PrimeCare versions of the Transit Mini and the Transit Duo . The Transit Mini is good for PrimeCare because it is meant for higher-volume deployments that would benefit from one-stop central management and warranty subscription. As for the Transit Duo, PrimeCare will help it reach its full potential by enabling SpeedFusion bandwidth bonding.

This is great - will the Balance One get a PrimeCare version? That would be huge for home users like me…

Currently it is just the Transit Mini and Transit DUO which can be purchased in the PrimeCare format.
They have said they will be adding more models to the line up but have not given much indication to which models.

Hi Cassy,
Do Prime Care products come with 1-year subscription or do we need do purchase it as soon as we buy the device?

Yes, it comes with 1-year PrimeCare Subscription. Partner/ customer would need to purchase the PC subscription before the subscription expire, or within the 14 days grace period.

After Expiration
To provide greater peace of mind, Peplink will grant a 14-day grace period for PrimeCare purchases after the date of subscription expiry. During the Grace Period, customers will be eligible to purchase PrimeCare for the expired device. The PrimeCare subscription begins on the day after the original warranty expiration date.

Between the 15th day and up to 2 years from the expiration date, re-entry into PrimeCare requires a Diagnostic Report to be submitted for testing. If passed, the Customer will be entitled to purchase PrimeCare again. The PrimeCare subscription date begins from the date of purchase.

If the Diagnostic Report is unavailable or failed, the Customer will only be entitled to purchase Out of Warranty Repair Service.

Will the device still work as it was when the prime care expires, for years to come?

As mentioned by @MartinLangmaid in BR1 max mini (5G) - #10 by MartinLangmaid

Happy to Help,
Marcus

What does Primecare cost after the complimentary year 1? I’ve been searching for this without any luck…

It depends on the model. In the case of the MAX Transit Mini it is only $49/year. Thanks
