Can someone explain why my Transit Duo can’t stay consistently connected on either Cellular or WiFi? I get disconnect/connect emails all day on Cellular 1 (AT&T), Cellular 2 (Verizon), Wifi 2.4 GHz, and WiFi 5 GHz.
I’m trying to upgrade from my WiFi Ranger that only has one Cellular and one WiFi channel. What’s very frustrating is that when I connect the WiFi Ranger the reporting from the Ranger shows no dropouts.
Both routers are with inches of each other in a location that does not change.
Get a dedicated wireless AP.
Dont use wifi-wan + AP simultaneously. Doing so will cause the AP to drop anytime there is an issue with the wifi-wan.

The issue is not with the AP it’s with the Cellular and WiFi Wan connections dropping intermittently.
-One SIM is AT&T the other is Verizon. Both intermittently disconnect, independent of each other.
-The 2.4 and 5 WiFi is connected to the property owner’s WiFi and both intermittently disconnect.
-There is no pattern to when any of the four connections disconnects.
(In the same cabinet is the WiFi Ranger I’m trying to upgrade from because it has only one Cellular and one WiFi channel. The WiFi Ranger does not intermittently disconnect.)

Turn off WiFi WAN and use the client device via ethernet or dedicated LAN AP and let us know if the issue persists. Alternatively, show us the device logs from IC2 during the disconnects.
The obvious question is why would Pep sell a router with WiFi Wan/Lan if it’s not possible to use them simultaneously expecting the customer to buy a separate AP? The WiFi Ranger does NOT have an issue with connecting to WiFi WAN and providing WiFi LAN consistently.
