Interference between Maritime peplink antennas

I have a maritime project with a Peplink MBX mini (2x5G) where I’m connecting 2x Peplink Maritime 40G antennas, showing we have a 2m. cables integrated finishing on SMA Male, I needed to include 2 packets with extensions ACW-816 (QMA-to-SMA adapters, 0.5ft / 15cm), connecting to QMA Female of MBX Mini.

However, showing the length of cables, I’m gonna need to install them almost in the same pole, could I have interferences between antennas?

Of course radars or any other UHF/VHF service could affect but I’m worried about between peplink antennas…

Thanks in advance for your feedbacks

Hi Angel,

Interference can definytly occur if the are in close proximity of each other, 1.5m is what we normally advice to keep as a “safe” distance when it comes to LTE frequencies. (although the level of interference changes due to the frequency used.) When using a combined antenna (2x2 or 4x4), this re-radiation also occurs, but within the antenna this is designed to be kept to a minimum based on how the antenna is made and the “distance” between the antenna aerials within the enclosure.
