Integrating Private Wan MPLS with Public Wan

Hello everyone,

I am integrating four locations currently under and MPLS network into a PepVPN network with two bonded connections. Currently its going to be MPLS + Cable and eventually it will become Fiber + Cable.

Main issue at this point in my initial test is that at times the traffic goes over the MPLS and other times it goes out via the public wan.
Is it possible to set a rule for all internal traffic to flow via MPLS and all internet traffic to go over public WAN?

Sounds like the VPN is not part of this yet so for your initial test simple outbound policy rules will solve this. Make sure the internal rule is on top.

Source = Any
Destination = Remote Internal Network
Prorocol = Any
Algorithm = Enforced MPLS WAN

Thank you Ron. Some of my internet sessions were getting disconnected.

Will I still need to rule once I connect the other locations via VPN?

Internal traffic will automatically use the VPNs when they are established however the bottom rule is still needed to prevent internet traffic from going out the MPLS WAN.
